Janice Beatty-Hendley
Jan Beatty-Hendley is a Relationship Manager in wealth management at Pinnacle Asset Management (PAM), a division of Pinnacle Financial Partners. Before joining Pinnacle in 2021, Jan’s long career in banking began with First Union, later becoming Wells Fargo. Jan retired from Wells as a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust and Fiduciary specialist. Her career included Trust and Estate administration as well as overseeing the delivery and execution of wealth management services such as trust, legacy planning, charitable planning, and investment management.
Jan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina graduating magna cum laude. In addition, she completed a specialized financial planning program at Queens University and earned the professional designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). She was recognized by Business Today’s Top Women in Business, class of 2015. Jan has three children and two grandchildren. She is married to Larry Hendley and lives in Kannapolis, NC. In addition to enjoying her family and traveling, she believes in giving back to her community and has focused her volunteer time in the areas of education and children. In addition to joining Wingate’s University Board of Trustees in 2020, her other involvement with Wingate includes being a former member of the Visitors Board, Chairing Wingate’s inaugural Planned Giving Council, and being the 2007 recipient of Wingate’s Honorary Alumna award.
